2) Adj: also used to describe someone who has mastered the fine art of pleasing the ladies in a badass form.

3) Synonym for Badass The epitome of the American male. He radiates confidence in everything he does, whether it’s ordering a drink, buying a set of wheels, or dealing with women. He’s slow to anger, brutally efficient when fighting back. The badass carves his own path. He wears, drives, drinks, watches, and listens to what he chooses, when he chooses, where he chooses, uninfluenced by fads or advertising campaigns. Badass style is understated but instantly recognizable. Like a fine car or a good pair of sunglasses: simple, direct, and functional.


This American rap artist  born Brian Douglas Hendershot Jr. grew up as a military child moving around the world to include Italy, Germany, Alaska, and finally landed in the DMV where he started his schooling in NW Washington DC.  He then moved to Columbia, MD where he graduated from Reservoir High School in Fulton, MD.

His fathers military career allowed him to see the world at a very young age which kept him grounded and out of most trouble.  His adaptive personality and mild manor disposition allowed him to love various cultures and their music. This is where he received his love for music.

Brigz Crawford began rapping at age 13, looking to record whenever and where ever he could, mostly at friends houses, until he bought his own equipment.  At 16, Brigz linked up with friend Christian James (Propane James) and created the group known as MIXBOI.  This group had local success and produced three mixtapes to include: “Zoo On 32”, ‘Fresh Fruit”, and “Next Stop Harvard”.  He has since gone solo in early 2012.  Still unsigned (Brigz Crawford) dropped Painted Pictures Managed by DEAD LEVEL BOYZ and Produced by Brigz Crawford himself, also guest starring on “Live At The Stadium” produced by AstrolBrothas.

Rap Success

Brigz Crawford began producing, writing, singing, rapping and performing music during his early high school days.  He has since worked with several major producers on projects for Neo The Matrix, The Winans, Kevin Jackson at (Night Flight Studios), Bat from Deep Wudz, Alonzo Prior and several local DMV artist to include G The Mastermind from Listen Vision Studios, Marcus Johnson from 8121 Studios and David Knocks from House Studios DC. This is where the likes of “Zoo On 32”, ‘Fresh Fruit”, and “Next Stop Harvard” were born. He most recently worked with G The MasterMind on his “S.I.K.” (Secrets I’ve Kept) project. Brigz Crawford has a debut single blazin’ the internet called “This For Hip Hop” receiving positive reviews from UnderGround HipHop Blog and DMV Life.

Brigz latest single entitled “Just Wait” was the unanimous winner of 93.9 WKYS FM “Versus” competition. Afterwards Brigz was invited to participate in the Shorty Da Prince cypher to showcase his lyrical and vocal talents live on air.

What’s Next

Brigz Crawford has several upcoming video shoots to promote singles “All Night”, “May 23rd”, and “This For Hip Hop” from the “S.I.K.” (Secrets I’ve Kept) project that dropped on May 23, 2015. Brigz is working with Persia Nicole a radio personality at (92.3 Baltimore WERQ), Listen Vision Studios in DC, House Studios DC, G The Mastermind, David Knocks and other producers on upcoming projects.
